Go Vols!

Anybody who knows me and Will knows that we love, love, love our VOLS!! Football, Basketball, Baseball...whatever it is, we support our VOLS! For Christmas I bought Will tickets to a basketball game because we have not been to a game in 10 years (I know...gasp!). We went to a game right after we started dating back when there were still bleacher seats in the upper deck and the men's team wasn't that good. So we had decided that we wanted to go to a game this year and I found an awesome deal on some tickets right before Christmas so I took advantage!

We took the kids to Diana's house that morning and headed to Knoxville. I guess we didn't realize how crazy parking was going to be and we almost thought we were going to just drive around all afternoon! But we finally found a park and even made it to our seats with plenty of time to spare!

Our seats were pretty high up, but they actually turned out to be pretty good seats. Except for the old man in front of us who kept standing up when standing up was not necessary!

We got to see them introduce our new head football coach Derek Dooley. That was pretty exciting. He was received with lots of cheers!

The game was great. We were behind most of the game but finally got ahead a little bit and then ended up winning in overtime! Free Basketball! Final score Tenn-71, Ole Miss-69.

Go VOLS!!!

We had a great time without the kids. We would like to bring them to a game of some sorts sometime, but right now they are just too crazy! It was nice to just have some us time...even if it was with thousands of other people! We even saw Darren and Julia while we were there. They were sitting right across the aisle from us! Our goal is to go to a football game this fall...but we will have to find another good deal on tickets!
