Are you serious?

Ok...so I was just reading on Kelly's blog from Kelly's Korner that there are seriously people in this great country who have never even heard of Okra!!! Are you serious people? You have never heard of okra? I could believe it if you had just never tried okra...but never even heard of it? I just can't imagine. Fried okra is my all time favorite side dish! I cannot go to Cracker Barrel and not order fried okra. I don't care what I else I am ordering...I need fried okra with it! I mean...just look at this great picture of some yummy fried okra
I could jump through the computer screen right now and eat that picture right up! This is just another reason that I am so glad that I live in the South. Because I cannot imagine my life without fried okra! And even though Will doesn't share this love of okra with me...he will still fix it for me. And Diana will make me lots of okra during the summer. One of these days I will have my own garden and that will be the first thing I plant! Ok...I have made my peace now. I hope that the people who have never heard of okra get to try some soon. Their waistlines may not be thankful...but I will be glad!
