Riverside Race Day

We had Riverside Race Day March 26th and it was a lot of fun as usual! The picture above is a Firetruck that my dad made for someone...and she thought it was pretty awesome!

Taylor was so excited to get to race her car! She kept telling me that hers was going to be the fastest car ever! I love that she was so excited about it!

And Liam didn't really know what was going on...but he knew he was having fun!

Taylor and Levi Smith telling everyone..."Gentlemen...start your engines!!" She thought this was the greatest thing ever!

And it comes down to the last race...who will it be???

Anna Grace Meadows won 1st place
Liam won 2nd place!!!! (Will was so proud!)
Morgan Crass won 3rd place

But these 2 were not happy with a green ribbon anymore after they saw that Liam got a trophy! They wanted a trophy too! Will felt really bad that Taylor was upset. He really thought he gave Taylor the faster car...but Taylor eventually got over it!

And here are the guys looking very closely at the cars on the track and getting prepared for next year. We always say that this race is more for the dad's than it is for the kids! They really do enjoy racing against each other and seeing how fast the times can get. They keep saying they are going to have an "open" class so all the dads can have a car and see who wins then! All I know is that Will was pretty proud to have a car that placed this year. I hope we continue to do as good in the years to come!
