Ok...so we had to get an early start on trick-or-treating because we had so many places to go! We started our journey at Grandma's house at about 4:45. Then we stopped at Sandra and Bunt's house and then Darlene's. Our car was going crazy at the time (story to come later!) so we had to coast to the house and switch over to the truck. Although we can all technically fit in the truck, it is not fun by any means for any of us! But you do what you have to do! So then we were off to Debbie Weaver's house for her party. Darren and Julia were meeting us there and we had a good time seeing all the kids dressed up and getting to talk with friends. Jessica and John T were there and a few other people from church stopped by. We stayed there longer than we had planned, but that was ok. Next we were off to Trunk-or-Treat at the church where Nonnie and Poppy were. We got our goodies from them and then were off to Mason and Joyce Goodman's house. Mason always enjoys seeing the kids and they love going over there too! Next we went to Lila's house. She is just like a grandmother to me and I love her so much. My kids love her too! She had some candy for the kids and Will ate some pumpkin pie! Next we went to Tim and Amber's house. Tim was waiting in the bushes ready to scare Logan when he got there and because of me, he ended up scaring Taylor too! She wouldn't talk to him for a little while. We stayed at Tim and Amber's too long too, but enjoyed talking with them for a while. Taylor was even warming up to Timber and Layla (the dogs) before we left and that is a BIG step for her! We finally made it home only to see that someone had rolled our front porch! I was too tired to care at the time. It was actually pretty funny. We don't have any trees in our yard so they just rolled the porch. (We later found out that Melanie, Will's sister, was the guilty one! Just wait until next year Melanie!!!) The kids had no problem going to sleep because we were all so tired. It was a long day but I think they really had fun! I can't wait till next year!
